-The Story of Me-
Character Appearance:

For the most part, Kikai is one of beautifully contrasting colours, each one almost seeming to be hand-picked for the task of displaying the one known as Kikai. Like many of her brother's and sister's in arms, she plays to the unknown. Despite her heritage: that of sanguine crying eyes and black hair, she has managed to distance herself from such a legacy. A feat, while not her own to celebrate- has nonetheless helped her tremendously throughout the years. Indeed, she can celebrate that her Father or Mother -whoever carried the gene of her heritage- had been able to overcome the recessive difficulties that such genetics' a hazarded with.
Her eyes however, were not so lucky. A deep, deep violet shade, only a few steps removed from black. These accusing orbs seemingly match the only part of her hair that represents even a remote shade of her ancestors. At the crown of her head, there is a barely visible darker shade. This gives off the look of her body ascending the normal planes of existence, and being in more than one place.
Moving further down Kikai's body, we come to the nape of her neck, the swell of bust and other features of the like.
Typically wearing a long sleeved overcoat white, with a velvet duplicate inside, this piece of cloth has a shallow neck line and a high backed one towards the nape. Tied around her waist is a belt that might have once belonged to a priestly figure. To confirm such a position would be the scared belt holding it all together. But as her position dictates no one really knows.
A pair of cut-off black stockings with silver bands adorn her legs.

Special Characteristics: She has a flowering tattoo in honor of her fallen teammates, each flower representing them.

Character Personality: One might describe the attitude of Kikai as 'cold'. She doesn't turn warm and then cold. Kikai isn't bipolar in her attitude towards the world. Quite the opposite. Sometimes you can see things so well, comprehend them so vividly and with such astonishing clarity -without bias or confusion. Lacking emotion or baggage thereof- that the only protection against such a cold, harsh reality is to close your eyes to the winter chill. An eyepiece that sharpens your vision just as much as it freezes the retina. So, you can only turn away in the hopes that simply ignoring it will remove the chill. And for the most part, it works. This would be why she does it, insanity is the act of doing something over and over again in the hopes that you will achieve a different result. Kikai could be considered the figurative opposite of such a thing.
Perhaps, it might be best to consider were such a behavioural pattern may have sprung up from. Opening your heart to others, perhaps? Truth be told, Kikai is kind at heart, nature does not breed very many of her origins, and it is a fact that should be sorely regretted. But, even with perception at the degree she has shown and felt, she has opened her heart up to a rare few, allowing those who she has taken under he wing.
She is extremely loyal to the cause and will complete her missions to an extremely high degree. Missions should be very careful to explain what acceptable losses are as well as what enemy losses are acceptable. She takes her loyalty very seriously and is loyal first to her clan, then her village, then her friends. Though, she may be swayed to betray her village for a friend, she will never betray her clan for a friend, even a best friend. Though she may, at times, betray her friends or village she cannot stand to be called a traitor. Expect at least a pounding for repeated offense. That is to say you will be warned before being broken.
Likes & Dislikes:

  • Like: Completing the mission.
  • Like: Getting paid.
  • Dislike: Idiots
  • Dislike: Bullies

Individual Quirks: Kikai collects flowers and presses them into a book. She has killed people to get this book back from enemies, pranksters, etc.
Hobbies: Flower pressing.

Roleplay Sample:
((Excerpt from NRPG))
Nigel set out from Iwagakure. Having left without permission, this would make him a missing shinobi. However, his goal was just and righteous. Nigel traveled the lands learning all that he could about many different techniques of construction. He traveled to far and distant lands that had strange cultures yet, beautiful architecture. He visited the ruins of some cities as they were made of strangely made of metals. Beams and sheets of metal that once stood high in the sky. One particular city lay in the desert of the Land of Wind. The buildings were all deduced to smaller structures due to a lack of inhabitants and the corrosive nature of wind and sand but, Nigel was able to see how the buildings were built and was able to envision how the city might have looked back when it bustled with life.

He imagined tall buildings, ending in points. Many pipes ran through the city, possibly to carry water throughout the city. He saw many bridges and walkways that connected the buildings so that people would not have to walk to the bottom of the towers then back up the next one. Nigel was amazed by this city and decided he model his own city after this one.

Nigel continued on his travels throughout the world and came across many other techniques. He learned how to build over water. He learned how to build on water. He learned many things. While on his journey, many people wondered why he was doing this. Nigel explained to them that he wanted to build his own village, one that would be righteous at heart and offer a safe place to anyone who wished to get away from the world. Nigel found a few followers to whom he would send letters once he had completed the construction of the village.

Nigel had learned all that he wanted to learn and was now ready to start building. Nigel looked at a map. Oddly enough there was an unclaimed territory between the Sound and Waterfall villages. It also shared a border with the Land of Fire. They would be an invaluable ally if he could gain their trust. Nigel headed out to the unclaimed region and found a rough jungle area. It was no wonder that it was unclaimed as not much could be done in the way of walking. Nigel used his glaive to cut out a path through the jungle.

Once he felt he had traveled to about the center of the region, Nigel used his water collision wave to expel a huge amount of water onto the ground. He then used his hydration technique to control the water and cut down the trees in the area. He was able to uproot all the vines and smaller trees as well. And ground covering plants were washed away. Nigel carried them off into random places throughout the jungle. Nigel let the water drain away and be soaked into the ground.

Nigel drew the design for the city in the dirt, outlining the overall shape of the city. The placement of the six platforms and the central tower were rather critical. Nigel then started digging out the access tunnels. The jungle was too thick to travel through in any conventional means so the tunnels would be the primary means of traveling into and outside the city. There would be seven tunnels in all. One would lead straight to the shore facing the Land of Lightning. Another would lead to a fishing spot to the north east. Another would lead to the shore facing the Land of Stone. Another would lead to the border facing the Waterfall country. Another would lead to the border facing the Land of Fire. Another would lead to the border of the Sound country. A final one would be a secret tunnel for him to use as an escape tunnel that leads to a secret location only he and a select few others would know about.

It took many days to dig out all these tunnels by himself. He then lined each of the tunnels with rock and tiles So hide the barren Earth from its travelers. The tunnels were huge, large enough for three carts to pass by each other and tall enough for ten men to stand one on top of the other. Nigel used blue tiles for the ceilings of these tunnels to simulate the sky. While in the tunnels it would be easy to forget you were actually in a tunnel and not just passing through some street. Once these tunnels were finished, Nigel moved on to create the central tower.

The central tower would house important government buildings such as the leader’s office, the Anbu headquarters, the mission station, and other such offices. Nigel started by digging deep holes that were only about two feet wide. There were six of these and in each of these, Nigel poured some cement and then placed large steel beams in the holes. They didn’t reach as high as they needed to but, it was part of the process. Start small and work your way up. Nigel then started on the walls of the tower. He placed steel beams to span the distance between each of the vertical beams. He bolted these into place. He then placed large sheets of steel on either side to create the walls. He filled the space in between the sheets with an odd foam he had discovered in a western land. The foam would create a seal between the outside and inside of the buildings. This would keep the temperature outside the building from affecting the temperature inside.

Nigel did this until he reached an incredible height. He had left the jungle’s canopy far below him as the tower grew ever taller. This would be the tallest building in the city. Nigel topped the tower with a lightning rod. This would later be connected to a power grid that would power the city. Nigel went back to the bottom of the tower and started marking where each floor would go. While he did this he also cut holes in the wall that would later become windows or walk ways. Nigel placed several steel beams across the span of the walls on the inside of the tower that would support the floor. He also placed beams between those beams. He then went under all these beams and placed sheets of steel and bolted them in place.

Once he had finished with this he took a look at the tower. It was a hot, metal mess! Nigel decided he would take this opportunity to pretty it up. Nigel took some protective paint and used it to paint the entire outside of the building and soft grey color. He outlined the holes where the windows and walkways would go with a light blue color that seemed to glow. Nigel painted the inside the same way. On the inside, Nigel put carpet down in the offices and placed hardwood on the floors of the hallways. He left the walls bare as they needed to be able to conduct the electricity to power the city. Nigel placed glass walls throughout the building so that the conductivity would not be compromised. Then he placed double paned windows in all the holes he had placed in the walls. They would be framed by the glowing paint that would give the entire structure an eerie yet, amazing feel.

Nigel walked through the halls of the central tower and admired his work. The tower was complete but, it was only one part of the whole. Nigel climbed down to the bottom of the tower and began to lay down the foundation for the other platforms. On one of the platforms, he started to build the arena. He started by building the columns that support the weight of the structure. They weren’t very ornate but, they were beautiful in their own right. Across the top of these columns, Nigel build arches that people would walk under to enter the arena. Spectators would be able to enter from all sides but, would be funneled into eight different entry points.

He went into the middle of the ring he had created and built the walls that would contain the fighting. Nigel placed the sheet metal around the inside of the wall and bolted it to the beams he had already placed around the area. Nigel then poured in dirt that had been displaced from the foundation. He created a pond and a desert area, and placed a tree within it. Nigel then created the stairs that would lead spectators to their seats. Nigel then created the seats and placed a special box where important people would be able to view the fights that would take place here.

Nigel then moved on to another platform. Here, he would build the housing for the people who would live here. Nigel created the many towers that would house the rooms as a sort of high rise apartment building. The rooms were simple, many of them single rooms. However, he took into consideration that people may want to have larger families. He made a tower that would house families. These places had multiple rooms to accommodate the families that would live there. Each of these towers also had an office were if the tenants had any problems, they could be expressed here and they would be taken care of.

Nigel decided to take a break. It certainly was a nice day today. There were a few clouds in the sky that would pass over the sun and provide some shade for him. It wasn’t really necessary though as it wasn’t extremely hot. Nigel was sweating his ass off despite the fair weather. Nigel took a seat on one of the empty platforms and looked at the work he had done. It was a magnificent sight to behold. The towers were oddly awe inspiring. Nigel’s breath caught in his throat as he viewed the city he was building. It was not only beautiful but, he had built it.

Nigel decided that he had spent enough time sitting around and went to back work on all the towers. Now he would start building the hospital. Nigel decided he would keep his circular tower theme and started by placing steel beams in an octagon shape. Nigel did all the same things as he had for the previous towers. He built up the steel beam, placed the sheet metal and bolted them to the beams. He poured the foam into the walls for insulation. He built it up so that it just looked over the jungle canopy. He topped it off with a lightning rod as he had done with the other towers. Nigel furnished this building completely with laminated floors. The paint job was still the same even though it was the hospital. Nigel didn’t want to alienate the patients that would be staying here.

Nigel installed the glass walls to separate all the offices and rooms. He then placed rubber curtains in all the patient’s rooms so that they wouldn’t conduct the electricity. Nigel looked up at the sky and saw that a storm was approaching. Nigel decided it was time to install the power grid. All the lightning rods around, he didn’t really have much of a choice. Nigel started by connecting wires to all the lightning rods. Then he connected them to key locations around the city. This would ensure that the power from the lightning strikes would be transferred into the power grid that would distribute the power throughout the city.

It was a rather ingenious thing that Nigel had invented himself. The lightning actually charged super powerful batteries that powered the city. Any excess power would be grounded at four different grounding stations. This ensured that the city would always have power and that it would not be shorted out by the lightning.

Now it was time to build the government official buildings. These buildings would include various things like, the coop for the messenger bird system that was favored by the rest of the shinobi world, Youseigakure’s own intelligence office, mission sorting and ranking office and other such things. Nigel built it in the same way he had built the other towers only, about half way through the construction he was forced to stop. The rain was condensing the foam material and dissolving it. Nigel quickly covered the remaining open places and took shelter in the central tower. Nigel had to cover the holes he had made for the walkways so that the water wouldn’t get into them and dissolve the foam there as well. It was a fierce storm. He heard the thunder as the lights flickered to life from the lightning strikes.

Nigel heard a loud whirring noise sound through the halls of his currently empty city as they were electrified and carried the electrical power to the batteries and charged them. The lights didn’t just glow in one place. Nigel had cut out places where he placed glass instead of sheet metal but, he cut out designs. When the lights came on, they would glow a soft blue color and accentuated the designs cut into the metal. It would appear as though he was powering the city with chakras.

The storm passed quickly though it was fierce. He looked out to see that no damage had come to his structures and was over joyed by it. Nigel then returned to work on the hospital. He replaced the foam that had melted away during the storm and continued to build it up like the other towers. Once he was finished with this, he moved on to create the walkways that would connect the towers at great heights so that people would not be required constantly climb up and down that towers to get where they wanted to go. He tore down the coverings he had put up during the storm and placed many steel beams between them to form the floor of the walkway. He put sheet metal over this to give it a more uniform look.

Once that was done, he put many poles along each side of the walkway and placed over them, pieces of sheet metal that were bent to form a sort of tent-like feel to the walkway. This would allow people to get some fresh air every now and then when traveling throughout the city. Nigel built many of these at varying heights throughout the city.

Nigel then got to work on the aqueduct system. It would provide water to the residents of the city. Nigel had already put the troughs in place on the foundation of the city so all he had to do was cover it in a mesh-like material that would only allow clean water to pass through it. Any contaminants would be trapped in the mess and washed away by excess water. Any excess water that flowed into the reservoirs would be drained out to the jungle.

Nigel wiped his brow as he put the last touches of pain on the final sector of the city. He took a moment to look at what he had made. It was a revolutionary city that would serve its people well in the years to come. It would last for centuries, perhaps even longer if people still walk its halls. Nigel was proud of what he had built and decided that with this change of scenery, it was time he changed his own looks. Nigel used one of his tunnels to travel to the Land of Fire and walked into one of the closer cities.

He quickly found a shop and browsed its shelves looking for anything that might catch his fancy. He then noticed a poster on the wall of a man with blonde hair that stuck straight up from his head wearing a long red jacket. Nigel was so fascinated by this poster that he decided to model himself after the man in the picture. He bought himself some hair dye and the red coat and headed home. He put on the jacket and dyed his hair. Nigel swept his finger through his hair and his hair obeyed its master’s wishes and stood straight up. Nigel then completed the ensemble with a pair of yellow sunglasses. He quickly found a large mirror and looked at himself. He was a dead ringer for the man in the photo. Nigel was amazed by how much he resembled the man. He was also extremely happy with his new look and felt it was money well spent.

Nigel’s thoughts then turned to alliances with other countries. He would have to make an alliance with Konohagakure as they were one of his neighbors. He would also attempt to foster friendships with both the Sound and Waterfall countries but, Nigel knew that if he could get Konohagakure on his side then the other two would simply fall into place. Nigel sighed at the thought of all the work he had ahead of him. It was a daunting task indeed to be the leader of an entire village but, he felt up to the task. After all, he had built the city with his own two hands. With this thought in mind and another storm on the horizon, Nigel found himself walking to his own new quarters located in the central tower. Like the rest of the city, there were no pictures on the walls. It was a barren room so as to not jeopardize the conductive integrity of the city. Nigel crawled into his bed, exhausted from all the work he had done and slowly drifted off to dream land. He dreamed of his city. He dreamed that it grew into a magnificent force that absorbed the territories of both the Sound and Waterfall countries. Konohagakure was a well respected and well established country and would not go down so easily. Nigel smiled as he dreamed about the city he had made with his own two hands.

Two more paragraphs on your personality. Look, we don't ask much of members in applications. But, it would be nice if they really owned the few things we ask of them. My personality is 912 words long. My appearance is 3 paragraphs long. Yours is one paragraph long and a picture. Please make a written description of your character's appearance of about two paragraphs. For your personality... It's contradictory. To be cold is to not care, really. And if she goes vicious when she "occasionally" showers a newbie with advice and tips and they die, she becomes vicious? I need more depth to her. There is nothing interesting to her so far. I need you to treat this character as if you were describing your child. Add two more paragraphs to her. Explain why she's like that, or make up theories as to why. Add idiosyncrasies to her personality that will make her more unique, and explain why. Please do that.

Blaze isn't an element. Remove that, and remove one of your elements as well. You need a ton of training for Blaze, including getting Mangekyou Sharingan. And no, you cannot start out with Mangekyou. You have to earn it.
